I started my studies at UMC (Universidad Marítima del Caribe / Caribbean Maritime University) in 2014. I finished my academic studies in July of 2019. Currently, I must complete my internships to obtain my college degree. As a Deck Cadet, the time of navigation to become a 3rd officer is 365 days, my purpose is to be Deck Officer as soon as possible and be employed into a good company and a good vessel with an excellent crew, and in that way, grow personally and professionally putting into practice what I learned in college, learning and practicing every day. I learned to speak and write general English at several courses, like “fundeim” (UCV's Languages School), and Open English (Online). Additionally, seven levels of English at UMC, including basic English and Maritime Technical English. I am sure that my English level is high (Speaking, reading and writing). During my career as a Cadet, I enrolled in different classes about Navigation, such as Coastal Navigation, Astronomical Navigation, Radar Arpa Simulator, Ship Maneuver, Stability, and more according to Standards of Training, Certifications and Watchkeeping (STCW). As a result, I only have the theoretical part about navigation, I do not have experience onboard of ship but I believe my knowledge can guide me and allow me to understand everything as easy and quick as possible. I am willing to learn and grow as a professional in the maritime world. I am sure I have all the qualities that I need to begin my internships in a successful way. Thereby, I am presenting my motivation, loyalty, dynamic, responsibility, politeness and positive attitude to your company.
