Good afternoon, I am interested in a position of engine cadet. I am a student of Lithuanian Maritime Academy of Marine Engineering. 4th year student. I have not had a training at sea yet but I had different type of training on-shore which was total of 6 months.3 months of my training were spent in Klaipeda, Lithuanian Maritime Academy. During that period I have learnt how to weld metal and use lathes. After that I had a training of 1 and half months at "Laivu technika".On this period I got skills on repairing vessels hull and done many various jobs at workshop. Another 1.5 months were spent in Norway. This experience was incredible. We were changing vessel from cod-fishing type to shrimp-fishing type. I have learnt how to work with refrigeration systems and we were living on board. I speak English and Russian well. All in all, I would love to work as an engine cadet or ordinary seaman. I am motivated, punctual and ready to dedicate all my efforts to the crew and vessel. Yours sincerely, Mantas Grinius
