Objective: Master Mariner JOB DUTIES /TASKS: Working as Master Mariner in Managerial Level; • Overall Command in Deck, Engine and Catering Department. • Worked as Company Representative in all third parties particularly to Crewmembers, Charterers, Agents, Authorities and Oil Major Companies. • Attending all Vetting Inspections by Oil Majors, External Audits by Classification Society, Port States Control Inspections. Cargo Surveyors and Loading Masters in every port. • Crew Management and Safe Navigation of the Vessel. • Health, Safety Officer and Ship Security Officer of the Vessel and her Crews. • Safe Operation with regards to Cargo Operations and Main Engine including all Critical Machineries that involves Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical and Fabrications as needed. • Conducting Internal Audits with regards to Health, Safety and Security inspection on board the vessel, and assuring that all crewmembers are following as per Company’s Policies. • Conducting Drills for all Crewmembers with regards to Fire-Fighting, Lifeboat/Life Saving Appliances, Oil Spill Drills and correct uses of SOPEP/SMPEP Equipments, Medical and Rescue Drills. • Doing Accounting Work for Crew Members. Working as Chief Officer in Management Level: • Worked as Chief Officer and in charged in Loading and Unloading of cargoes, deck maintenance and head of Deck Dept. • Worked as Health, Safety Officer in charge • Second in command to the Master. • Provide on-board trainings to officers and ratings as per ISM/ISPS codes. Working as Junior Officer: • Worked as Navigating Officer and in charged in all Bridge equipments, including charts corrections covering the whole world. • Worked as Safety Officer / Assistant to Chief Officer. • In charged of Life Saving Appliances and Fire Fighting Equipments that includes the maintenance of all Fire Extinguishers, Lifeboats and Life Rafts. • Assisting Chief Officer during Cargo Operations • Maintain watches at Sea and in Port. CERTIFICATES / TRAINING AND SEMINARS ATTENDED: • STCW Management Level with Capacity of Master Mariner – Unlimited • STCW Endorsement • GMDSS (Gen Operators Certificate) • Health and Safety Officer’s Course • Shore Based and Advance Training in Fire Fighting • Ship Security Officer • Identifying Potential Hazards and Risk Assessment • Specialized Training in Oil Tankers • Specialized Training in Chemical Tankers • Incidents Investigation • Dangerous, Hazardous and Harmful Cargoes • Personal Safety and Social Responsibility • Operation of FRAMO Cargo Pumping System OTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Oil Majors vetting experience, CDI, new building, drydocking Learned how to establish good relationships with others.
