Multi-skilled, versatile and well experienced Marine Engineer sailing on different types of tanker vessels.
Currently, I am working as an Engine Officer of the Watch (EOW) on GAS Carriers, specifically FSRU/LNGC and LPG/VLGC vessels. I hold a Second Engineer Certificate of Competency (Motor), as well as High Voltage (Management), Advanced Tanker Endorsement (Liquified Gas) and all relevant STCWs.
Over the course of my career, I have accumulated:
Almost 2 years of sea service on GAS Carriers;
Nearly 4 years on Crude Oil/Product/Chemical Tankers of various classifications.
My experience on different types of Tankers has provided me with invaluable knowledge of main and auxiliary engines, steam boilers, cargo pumps, and cargo systems. Some highlights of my expertise include:
Main Engines: Familiarity with MAN&BW (MC-C, ME-C, ME-B) and Wartsila (DFDE, RTFlex), Kawasaki (Steam driven turbine)
Auxiliary Engines: Proficiency in Yanmar, Hyundai-HiMSEN, Daihatsu, MAN&BW, and Wartsila engines.
Cargo Systems: Experience with steam-driven cargo pumps and high-pressure hydraulic pumps (FRAMO) on Oil/Chemical Tankers, as well as LNG cargo pumps, LD and HD compressors (Cryostar), reliquefaction plants on GAS Carriers (Burckhardt), and regasification plants on FSRUs.
Emission Controlling Systems: Knowledge of NOx and SOx emission controlling systems, including Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Exhaust Gas Scrubber (EGS) technologies.
