Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to ask if it would be possible for me to be employed in Your company at the harbour tug or similar vessel as Chief Engineer in rotations 4-6 weeks on/off permanent contract? I am an experienced engineer with a higher education, who has a well-established knowlage of the efficient operation of ships, acquired not only during study but also during the 15 years of experience at sea on various types of ships. I can say with full responsibility that I have the required skills and qualifications for the position of Chief engineer on ASD tug boat. As far as my ASD tug engineering experience is concerned, it is not that big, but it is in the Rotterdam port, where three towing operations was carried out throughout one day on average. I also worked as a single engineer (FairplayXI, Fairplay X), which allows me to say that i can work alone or in a team. It is not a problem for me. From among my ASD tug experiences that has been described I would like to emphasize the work on a hybrid prototype tugboat lunched into operation in 2015 year (Fairplay XI), where automatic control systems realized by mechatronic systems are used. I think, that my knowlage of Russian language could be additional trump. I am interested to get employ on harbor tugs, so that I can continue to improve my skills and to update my knowlage.
