Dear Sir / Madame My name is Jorge Lozano Rivera and I am a Spanish Watch Keeping Officer with several months of hands-on experience in LNG Carrier, 10 months as Third Officer and other 11 months as Deck Cadet on the vessel “CASTILLO DE VILLALBA”. I am a passionate seafarer who loves his work at sea. I was in charge of Fire Fighting Systems and Life Saving Equipment. My duty was to carry out regular inspections checking and testing that equipment for proper working and good conditions. I am a competent Microsoft Office Packages I was responsible of the Port Documents which were required to the vessel by Port Authorities. I developed the role of Medical Officer as I have a Certificate of Medical Care on Board. I was the person responsible for the hospital, medicine chests and first-aid-kid equipment. In addition to these responsibilities, I was Officer of the Watch 8 hours per day which included watch keeping, navigation and GMDSS radio watch keeping. I am a very organized person and a team player with communication skills needed for the work team on a vessel. I committed to my work and I like giving my 100 percent to achieve it.
