I have a wide range of marine engineering and transferable mechanical engineering experience, supported by strong problem solving and decision making capabilities in challenging situations – in port and at sea.
I am self motivated and work smart to ensure high standards and deadlines are met. As a strong communicator, I work well both in a team and on my own.
My experience has allowed me to develop strong commercial awareness – rapidly understanding the operational priorities and the expectations of maritime organizations.
The post has enabled me to develop my watchkeeping skills in the pressurised offshore support industry, where the priority is to balance client’s needs with ensuring safe operations, requiring careful planning, attention to detail and good practical fault finding and problem solving skills.

• Azimuth thrusters manufactured by: Kongsberg, Schottel and Rolls Royce;
• Diesel electric and conventional propulsion variations;
• High voltage power plants (up to 6.6kV)
• Hydraulic, electro-hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• High pressure gas compressors
• Refrigeration plants
• HVAC
• Steam/thermal boilers

• Preventive maintenance systems (AMOS, Titan and TM Master)
• QHSE management systems including tools and procedures as a mean to support an effective quality organisation: Permits to work, Toolboxes, Hazard Analysis and Risk Control verification, Stop cards, Lockouts/Tagouts.
