Additional to my Application Form I here with would like to provide further Information about my personality and experience. Name: Arkadijus Poliakovas Born: 13.08.1973 Marine Education: 1990-1993 Klaipeda Higher Maritime School / Chief Engineer (III/2) Type of vessels I sailed on: Multi-Purpose, General Cargo, Bulk Carriers, Container Ships. Installed ME: 1996-2006 I served on ships equipped with 4-Stroke engines such as: SKL 26/20, MaK 8M32C (3840kW), MAN L40/54 (5300 kW), WARTSILA 8L46B (7800kW). 2006-2014 I served on ships equipped with 2-Stroke engines such as: MAN B&W 6S26MC (2190kW), MAN B&W 7S26MC (2800kW). 2014-2017 I served on ships equipped with 4-Stroke engines such as: MaK 9M43-C (8400kW), WARTSILA 6L46C (6300kW), MAN 7L58/64 (9730kW). Installed Aux. Engines: Caterpillar, MAN, SKL, WARTSILA. Boilers: Steam and Thermal oil. Cargo Cranes: Liebherr, McGregor. Purifiers: Westfalia, Alfa Laval. Electrical knowledge: I often was sailing without an electrician on board (around 18 contracts) and have experience in fault finding/repair electrical/electronic equipment on board. Seamanship / multinational crew: I am sailing and interacting with multinational crews since 2004 and never had any problems due to differences in culture. The "BASIC TRAINING FOR OIL AND CHEMICAL TANKER CARGO OPERATIONS" cours is passed by me in Riga NOVIKONTAS training centre. I would like to change the type of the vessels I served before according with new passed cours. Ready to work with lower position (4th./3rd. Engeneer) to get required experience with futher promotions. I know that many companies requirements for the 3rd.Engeer to have already advanced cours certificate and it is complicated to start in my situation. I have long experience of work at sea in all positions from 4th. to C/E and need to get only specific experience (3 month in position of 3/4 engineer to get required sea service for advanced cours passing) for "Oil & Chemical tankers". In additional to above, as you can see in my AF, I long time worked in one company "Peter Doehle Schiffahrts-KG".
