Good Day! My name is Galchenko Sergei. I have been working as Chief Engineer since 2013 and have sailed in various seas and oceans on board various types of ships( container ships, heavy lift, tankers,, general cargo, coasters, multi-purpose ships) and with various crews ( Filipinos, Indonesians, Indians and crew members from Europeean countries. I have experience working with the main engines MAK,Man-B&W, Vyartsilya, Deutz on heavy fuel oil and marine gasoil. Auxiliary engines were Man, Deutz, Volvo Penta, Misubishi, Caterpillar. My responsibilities include maintenance and monitoring the operation of all mechanisms on board the vessel, maintenance of engines and mechanisms in accordance with manufactures instructions, bunkering fuel and lubricants, preparing monthly reports and requests for spare parts. I have experience in electric welding and working on a lathe My break from work is due to the fact that my wife got sick and she had a complex operation after which I looked after her for a long time.
