I am a 3rd year student at Liepaja marine college. I have had a previous experience at sea. I was on a sailing yacht two years in a row. It was a exchange program. We were sailing next to the shores of Sweden,Denmark and Germany. Our crew was mixed. ( Germans and Latvians) Tje project lasted for two weeks, both years. Our main goal for 2016 was to sail from Liepaja to Kiel. It took us 2 weeks with stops. So I have experienced being a deck cadet. Im also good at communicating with other persons. Ability to take my own decisions and ability to plan my work time.
