I am seeking a position as a Second Engineer. With over 8 years of experience in the shipping industry. I am a seasoned and versatile maritime professional with a strong passion for the operation and technical management of diverse merchant fleets. I hold a Master’s degree in Maritime and Inland Waterway Transport, specializing in the Management of Ship Technical Systems and Complexes. Throughout my career, I have developed a proven track record in leading and supervising teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and operating and maintaining vessel technical equipment. I am motivated by the challenges and opportunities the maritime sector presents and am always eager to learn new skills and technologies to further enhance my competencies and value. In my most recent role as a Third Engineer in the Tanker Merchant Fleet, I was responsible for: • Maintenance of auxiliary equipment, • Watchkeeping duties, • Repair and troubleshooting of technical systems, • Fuel and lubrication systems management, • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Currently, I am still working as a Third Engineer, but I am ready to step up and apply my skills in problem-solving, communication, and decision-making to handle complex situations and emergencies, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a ship. I participated in the acceptance process of a newly constructed vessel in Hong Kong, China, delivered in 2023.
