I am writing to apply for the position of Electro-Technical Officer. I have solid sea-going experience as an ETO, working with a wide range of marine electrical and electronic systems. My experience includes maintenance and troubleshooting of main engine electronic control systems (MAN ME), ballast water treatment systems (Techcross), exhaust gas cleaning systems (Yara scrubber), and fuel optimization systems. Additionally, I have worked with NorsePower Rotor Sail systems and have strong knowledge of ship automation and PMS programs. I am experienced in installation, configuration, and maintenance of onboard communication systems, including VSAT, TracPhone, and Starlink. I am technically minded, detail-oriented, and confident in diagnosing electrical and automation faults using electrical diagrams, technical manuals, and system documentation. I work well under pressure and am committed to maintaining vessel safety and operational efficiency. I have good English communication skills and experience working in multinational crews, including German, Polish, Croatian, Montenegrin, Filipino, and Lithuanian seafarers.
