Dear Sirs, My name is Alen Bikić. I'm from Bar, Montenegro. I'm 23 years old. Currently, I'm a student at the University of Montenegro and I study Maritime. The degree Bachelor's BSc of Maritime Sciences and Specialist Sci of Maritime Sciences I gained at the Faculty of Maritime Studies. At this time, I'm on Master's MSc degree in same field Maritime Sciences also at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor. At the Faculty of Maritime Studies there are four departments, such as Nautica, Mechanical engineering of ship, Management in maritime and Maritime Sciences. The main reason why I chose the department Maritime Sciences is that because it include all three departments and include everything related to the maritime. I want to be adaptable for any type of job and further scientific research. I really love Maritime because I have always been interested in ships and maritime transport. I have two uncles who are sailing all their life, the one is Captain and the other one is the 1st officer, I have always been attracted to their way of life which is full of adventures. Concretely I focused on deck department and the subjects that I studied in Master's study is: Navigation, The International Maritime security system, Legal maritime regulations and technology for sustainable development. At this time, I'm working on my master topic “Integrated Bridge Systems”. After that, I would like to continue with my studies and do a PhD degree in the same field. I'm looking to find boarding like Deck Cadet, AB Seaman, Assistant Steward and other position on offshore ships and oil platforms. The necessary documents for ship I own basic 5 certificates (Basic training certificates, Medical First Aid, Security Awareness, Designated Security Duties and Passenger Ship Safety), Yellow Fever, Medical examination, Record Book for deck cadet, Montenegrin Seaman's Book and Passport. I consider myself as a team player, very communicative person, flexible and responsible. I am also loyal, precise and logical. Interacting fairly with others is something that I feel strongly about. I am also very good at planning, organization and endurance on tasks to the finish. I would like to achieve highest level in my profession. I plan to sail the whole life and one day to become captain of the ship.
