############################################################################################################################################################################################## Job Responsibilities ############################################################################################################################################################################ -### The responsibility for maintenance and repairs of the ship's various electrical systems/equipment is                                distributed among the electricians according to their specific duties -### The ship's electrical equipment/ systems maintained by the electricians include (but are not limited to)                        machineries inside the engine room, emergency and auxiliary generators, emergency and auxiliary switchboards,                          ships stabilizers, electrical installations of lifeboats and rescue boats, fire alarm and fire door control systems,              lifeboats, mooring and anchor winches, CO2 system, ship's public address and public clock systems, equipment, Responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the electrical plant and associated                                             electrical systems throughout the ship ### Ensures that all electrical equipment and machinery on board the ship, such as elevators, fire alarm systems,                         diesel electric propulsion, navigation equipment, control systems, synchronization of generators,  Propulsion system and all associated systems are properly operated and maintained according                                              to the applicable regulations and international standards ### Carry out maintenance and repair on electrical components of marine equipment, i.e. motors and auxiliaries,                            ballast pumps, control panels, cranes etc. ### Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all power generation and distribution equipment, i.e.                                           generators and engine controls, SCRs, switchgears, transformers, etcetera Assist with the maintenance and repair of general equipment such as HVAC system,                                               refrigeration plants, communication systems, lighting, etc.                                                                                                                                         ##################################################################################################################################################################################################### COMPUTER skills  #########################################################################################################################################                                                                                                                                         MICROSOFT WORD OFFICE ACCESS POWERPOINT,  EXCEL,                                                                                                                                          ############################################################################################################################################################################################# Highlights of Qualifications ########################################################################################################################################## ### Huge experience with both low- and high-voltage systems ### Proficient with SCR drives, generator controls, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) ### Wide knowledge of troubleshooting wiring problems ### Ability to interact with individuals in a cross-cultural environment ### Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings ### Operated, maintained, and repaired main and emergency generator. ### Installed, troubleshoot, and repaired control systems. ### Inspected, serviced, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment in hazardous areas. ### Calibrated, maintained, and repaired test equipment and tools. ### Performed all preventative maintenance according to manufacturer’s specifications. ### Determined and interpreted capacities and performance data and selects equipment. ### Supervised setting of operational parameters on breakers and transformer.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           ###Please see my CV for additional information on my studies and work experience.
