I qualified with a class 3 motor unlimited CoC and was happy to work as third engineer for the firm that trained me however I did always feel I wanted more from working at sea. I do possess engineering skills which I have gathered over the years through my time at sea and studying to degree level. I started as a fabricator welder and was always one for study and advancing. I studied and worked through the levels of engineering disciplines and it would be an ambition of mine to work on board all types of vessels. I am happy to join such a team at the lower level and work my way up by gaining the knowledge and experience necessary to become a competent engineer on board most vessels. I am hardworking and strive to do each task I encounter to the best of my ability whilst remaining open minded at all times to enable me to adapt to any situation. Working away for long periods of time has never concerned me and I enjoyed my time at sea during my training. Morale can be affected at sea from what I experienced and my personality is such that I remain upbeat and try to keep others happy and motivated. Having researched into your company, it stands out to me that you are engaged in various exciting projects and I would love to be a part of the team.
