I'm also considering changing the fleet. *** I am 29 years old with four years of maritime experience. In the previous four contracts I hold the position of a Navigation Officer. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in "River and Marine Transport – Navigation" at Kherson State Maritime Academy in Ukraine. In my professional career I served on bulk carriers, general cargo vessels, multi-purpose vessels as well as on a passenger ship in the sizes of 200 to 38,000 Dwt. Ranked as an Oow, I carried different types of cargos, among them: bulk cargo, general cargo and project cargo, e.g. pine logs, fertilizers, bagged cargo, aggregates, ore, coal, scrap metal, metal/plastic pipes, wind turbine blades, coils, etc. In my previous contracts, the vessels I served on traded worldwide and I obtained experience in sailing in areas such as the Baltic Sea, the North Sea, the Norwegian Sea, the Barents Sea, the Gulf of Bothnia, rivers etc. Ranked as an Oow, my duties as an 2nd and 3rd Officer included passage planning, pre-arrival papers, warranty of safety etc. and I am familiar with working with Ecdis (JRC/Transas) and paper charts. Furthermore, I worked with mixed crews from different nations and it has never been an issue due to my fluency in the English, German, Ukrainian and Russian language. I characterize myself as a hardworking and dependable, licensed OOW (unlimited) and I am committed to execute each job quickly, efficiently and safely.
