29 years experience in marine engineering, 20 years experience as a Chief Engineer (including 4 years as Single Engineer).  Have strong management skills and leadership qualities, highly motivated, goal oriented, safety focused, team work oriented. Able to identify weak points, build the strategy, lead and encourage teams to bring Technical Department to the highest standard. Above was achieved on several vessels under my technical management. Have a good Safety Culture and experienced with Work Permits and Risk Assessment, Isolation Certificates, Near Miss reporting. Experienced with new generation of Main Engines -MAN  ME-type, Wartsila RT-flex Experienced with EGCS (open loop scrubber system) Experienced with Cargo Cranes (including gantry) : NMF, MacGregor,  Liebherr, Hydralift Experienced in computer based maintenance planning, purchasing and stock inventory, budget preparation and cost control during the year. Experienced with equipment/installations fault finding and problem solving. Quickly adapt myself to new or changing environment, can work under commercial pressure. Can deal with new equipment using previous experience, knowledge and skills as well as equipment manuals and drawings.
