SEAFARERS ( application forms, resumes, CV’s )

I’m looking for a job with a shipping company as a Ratting Engineer/Engineer Cadet/4th Engineer/Motorman or Cadet, and willing to work months away at a time, on a rotation, with the aim of getting my OOW Unlimited. I would like a full time position and need a 4 week notice to leave my current offshore position. At the present I’m not working as we most of the offshore staff has been put onto standby leave. I have been working offshore since 2002 as a Technician and also a few year as an Engineer Cadet. I have completed all my college studies and oral exam, but due to time off the MCA requested that I have to re-sit my oral exam again. As I not been in the engine room for a while this reflected in my exam and I failed. It’s been requested that I get myself back into the engine room to refresh and get back into the swing of things and take the final oral exam again. Hope you can offer me a full time position as a Rating Engineer or Assistant Engineer with the aim to getting a full position as OOW 3rd Unlimited. As I only have my Oral exam to complete to get my Office Of Watch license. Willing to go onto cadet wages until Licensed. Yours Sincerely A.Metcalfe
