My career began as an intern, followed by roles as a Sailor and Second Mate, before advancing to Chief Mate in 2019. I have gained extensive experience working on various types of vessels, including **General Cargo Ships**, **Multi-Purpose Vessels**, **Heavy-Lift Ships**, and **Container Ships**, with trading areas spanning worldwide. Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in planning and executing cargo operations, including loading, unloading, and stowage of diverse cargo types such as metal structures, project cargo, heavy-lifts, and bulk cargo. I am proficient in operating and maintaining deck machinery, including Gantry cranes (both hydraulic and electric), and have hands-on experience with electronic chart systems such as TRANSAS 3000/4000, MARIS ECDIS, E-GLOBE, FURUNO, and TECDIS. As a Chief Officer, I served as the first deputy to the Captain, overseeing all personnel and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. My responsibilities included stability calculations, draft surveys, hull load control, and navigation watchkeeping. Additionally, I acted as the Ship Security Officer and prepared detailed monthly and quarterly reports for the company. I take pride in my ability to manage mixed-crew teams (Dutch, German, Indian, Ukrainian, Filipino) and foster a collaborative work environment. I am seeking a new opportunity due to the limited contract duration (4 ± 1 months) and compensation at my current company. My expected salary for the next contract is at least $7,000 monthly, with a contract duration of 4 months or less, if possible. I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Sputnik-Light vaccine.
