I am very interested in the position of a Trainee, Oiler or any Rating position and I would like to be considered for any any one of these role. I have successfully completed my Associates of Applied Science Degree in Marine Engineer (class - 3) and would like to gain further experience. Being given the opportunity to work with your company will assist me in garnering the knowledge and skills required to apply for my license as a third class engineer. I have worked two years as a technician at a power plant. There, I was exposed to both the electrical and mechanical aspects of the Wärtsilä 12V46 and 18V/46 Medium Speed Diesel Engine Generator sets. I had the opportunity of working alongside experienced engineers which contributed to the development and refinement of my skills. During my tenure as an Instrument/Electrical Technician, and Mechanical Technician, Plant Technician some of the duties I performed are as follows: • The inspection, repairing, testing, adjustment, installation and removal of electrical and control instrument • Interpretation of electrical drawings • Performed preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on Generator and Auxiliary Units. • Starting-up, shutting-down and operations of Generator Sets and Auxiliary Unit I have the ability to comprehend things quickly and I am able to operate equipment in compliance with environmental requirements. i have other documents that will be present upon request such as passport, visa etc.
