I sailed for 11 years on general cargo and bulk carriers,liners,fishing and heavy cargoes.I sailed in all the world main rivers, channels cannals and oceans.The vessels I worked on were mainly Danish, Dutch and British, one USA Bulk carriers and several spanish shipsIn 1982 I took a job ashore and became MD of a Shipping MAnagement Company based in LONDON and with operations in UK,Spain and Ireland.After the company closed down I returned to sea, having spent the last 5 years in the Falkland Islands.I have since updated my Certificates, undertaken refreshment and training courses.
