Dear Sir / Madam, I am writing to apply for an entry-level seafarer position in the Deck or Engine Department. I hold valid STCW Basic Safety Training, an Ethiopian Seafarer’s Book (CDC), international passport, medical certificate, and Yellow Fever certificate. I am currently seeking my first sea-going contract as an Ordinary Seaman (Deck) or Wiper (Engine) and am available to join immediately. I am motivated, safety-conscious, physically fit, and willing to start at entry rank to gain sea time and practical experience.
