As a 3rd Engineer now available with EOOW UNLIMITED iii/1 license, and a valid Finnish resident permit, also a holder of national diploma in Marine Engineering and a higher national diploma in mechanical engineering and my studies is centered on ship design. Marine propulsion and auxiliaries, hydraulic power fluid, Ac and ref, mechanical and electrical engineering technology etc. I also took marine short courses on BASICSTCW,HELM,CHEMCO,TASCO,OTF, HUET OPITO, SSO,ERM,PSCRB, ENG1 MEDICAL,IMDG AWARENESS,HIGH VOLTAGE, CA-EBS OPITO, ADVANCE FIRE FIGHTING, HYDROGEN SULPHIDE AWARENESS, ASBESTOS AWARENESS,MEDICAL FIRST AID,SEAMAN BOOKLET,FINNISH RESIDENT PERMIT,INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT,COVID 19 VACCINE.ETC To gain a better understanding of this position and everything it entails, I completed an internship where I worked side by side with professional engineers. I gained experience on CREW/UTILITY VESSEL, DAMEN FCS 3307 VESSEL 33m, PRODUCT TANKER VESSEL 210m, CREW TRANSFER VEESEL37.72m,OFFSHORE SUPPORT/SUPPLY VESSEL,FSV AND SPOT HIRE ON AHTS 60m. and equipment's like the steering, propulsion and other vessel systems. I have the knowledge and training needed to oversee test that help to determine if the systems are functioning correctly and to make sure they comply with all rules, regulations and standards. When there is a problem, I have the skills to make repairs to all systems, equipment and structures to make corrections where needed. I have the ability to interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams, equipment used on the engines and the vessels. I can provide estimates for new projects or for repair jobs and I have the ability to keep excellent records of all work performed. I have excellent problem solving and time management skills, lots of patience and the ability to work and make good decisions independently.
