Dear Hiring Manager ❗️ONLY OFFSHORE❗️Experience as a motorman includes disassembly, reassembly, and maintenance of engines, pumps, separators, and overhaul of engines with oil changes and valve lapping. Cleaned piston and sub-piston parts, disassembled and cleaned desalination units, plate heat exchangers and coolers, inspected and cleaned fuel tanks. Performed utilization boiler maintenance, disassembled and cleaned MGPS, OWS, nozzles on boilers and incinerators. Participated in the repair of inert gas system generators and replacement of nozzles on main engines. Familiar with bunkering, offloading and signoff processes on line system tankers and steam turbines. As part of weekly routine work, launched and checked lifeboats and emergency diesel generators, checked batteries (lifeboats, ADGs, radio and main batteries). Performed light bulb and floodlight replacement tasks throughout the ship, performed fuel gauges, and checked bilge and sludge levels. Well versed in the operation of fuel systems and steam turbines.
