Good afternoon, my name is Valentin, I am from Odessa, Ukraine. I am 25 years old. I graduated from Maritime College named after A.I. Marinesko of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy “. The seventh of July twenty eighteen, I got a qualification of the Third Engineer. I am not afraid of difficult and hard work, I am well – versed and quick learner. I`ve been interested in engineering and technics since I was twelve. I want to spend my life at sea on merchant ships . I respect discipline and try to follow it. I am hard working and active person. I am also self- motivated, attentive, to details , troubleshooter, I can work in a team, as well as work with a computer and computer programs. The last contract as an oiler, on a general cargo type vessel, after 2 weeks I learned and performed the duties of the 4th engineer, after the decommissioning of the 4th engineer, he was replaced by a young unqualified 4th engineer since he did not understand the work, I had to teach him everything that I know, as Oiler I was his mentor, and during this period the Chief Engineer gave me a promotion for 4 mechanics, but the company did not approve me for lack of documents. After being decommissioned, I arrived in my country, Ukraine, and the war began, which is why I have such a long break from work.
