Brief summary of my experience: • 1985–1990 (5 years): Worked in ship repair of cargo systems aboard LPG and refrigerated vessels at the Technical Maintenance Base of the Latvian Shipping Company. • 1991–2008 (17 years): Served on LPG and ethylene carriers. During this period, I gained experience with semi-pressurized and fully refrigerated vessels using direct and cascade cargo liquefaction methods. • 2008 to present: Worked on LNG carriers. My experience includes maintenance of turbo compressors by Atlas Copco and CryoStar, CryoStar companders, Air Liquide subcoolers, Kobelco screw compressors, and Kobelco high-pressure piston compressors. Familiar with various liquefaction systems including EcoRel, Q-Flex, PRS-MRS and A-PRS. Also experienced with vessel main engines operating on different fuel systems – from steam ships and conventional diesel installations to modern systems such as X-DF, DFGE-EI, DFDE and ME-GA.
