My name is Alexey Remizov. I’m Russian. I was born in 1975 in Murmansk. In 1992 I entered the State Technical University and was graduated from navigation department in 1998. Education degree is Marine Engineer-Navigator. From 2001 I began the career on gas tankers. I have a captain's license and 22 years’ total experience on all types of LPG tankers, Ethylene carriers, Ethane and LNG carriers. I’m very interesting gas industry and your company as a future of my career. During my activity as a Chief Officer and the Master I had responsibilities as follows: safe navigation and operation of the vessel, security of the vessel, MLC compliance and MARPOL compliance too. preplanning of cargo & ballast operations, loading-discharging, storage of cargo, transportation, cargo calculation, cargo documents preparation. Good practice of mooring operations including LNG STS operations, communication, cooperation and coordination with the port facility and terminal operational staff. I participated in business argumentations between cargo shippers, manufacturers, and consignee, customers regarding cargo documents, quantity, quality and other discrepancies. I’m going to improve commercial aspect in LNG business. I have been arranged a vessel readiness for vetting by many Oil Majors and inspections according to all International Conventions and Codes. Risk assessment policy has been used. I am quickly adapted to a new situation. First it is necessary to understand specifics of work and Company Policy. Secondly to familiarize properly with a market requirement. In the third to improve good relations with colleagues. LNG industry is interesting and HI-tech business which constantly extends.
