am applying for a position of Deck Cadet for your company and have attached my resume for you. When I saw your advert, I was excited because I saw it as another opportunity to contribute to your organization through my experience. I am ready to apply what I have learned working as a Deck Cadet to your great organization if given the opportunity. First of all I am looking for navigation practice on your board . I am a 21 years old student currently graduating from Gdynia Maritime University. I have a range of experience in performing all deck navigational duties aboard ship under supervision of deck officers. I also have experience working on a sailing vessel “Dar Mlodziezy” I am physically capable and ready to confront the challenges of life on the sea.
