I hold a Class 2 Unlimited Officer of the Watch (OOW) Certificate of Competency and have been working in the maritime industry for 8 years. During my career, I have gained extensive experience in navigation, cargo operations, ship handling, and safety procedures. I have also successfully led teams of deck officers and crew members in various challenging situations, demonstrating my strong leadership skills. In my current role as a 2nd officer, I have been responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the ship, managing the deck crew, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and procedures. I have also played a key role in planning and executing various shipboard operations, including loading, discharging of cargo and anchoring. I have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and am good in English. I am also familiar with various electronic navigation systems, including ECDIS(Furuno,JRC, Transas), and have strong problem-solving skills.
