I am a student of Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping on navigation faculty. I have passed 3 courses with good marks and really want to improve my knowledge and skills by passing practice on a gas tanker.
My dream to become a seafarer has appeared when I still was a child, because I was surrounded by people, whose professions were connected with sea. For example my grand grand father was first rang captain, during Second World War he served on the submarine. My grand father was serving in Russian navy, and my father, after taking practice on STS “Sedov”, started working in shipping company, he is a chief mate on a gas tanker now. My uncle works on shipyard. All of them helped me to understand, that sea job is one of the most prestigious, interesting, romantic and of course responsible one.
But not only my relatives helped me with this decision. From my childhood I tried myself in different spheres, like music (guitar, drums), sport (mountain climbing, volleyball, bicycle) and etc., but I understand, that they could not be connected with my future job.
I have some achievements, like Cambridge diploma of English (PET), which I got at 8th class. Also I have a driving license (B category). Before quarantine I had taken part in university activities. I got all seafarer’s documents (seafarer’s identity document, seaman’s book), passed trainings (basic safety training, security training for seafarers with designated security duties, basic gas tanker courses and Rating forming part of navigation and watch LED205492881, issued by Bolshoy port of Saint Petersburg on 12.04.2022).
I am positive man. All job, that I need to do I complete just in time with good quality. I am purposeful and will never give up, if there is a lot of hard work to do. I am good in communication with people, which are new for me, and if something goes wrong, I will find compromise. I hate wasting of time. I like when people are honest and can listen others. Also I like to learn new things and appreciate when people share their experience.
