Good afternoon, dear employer. My name is Mykhailo Oskolkov. I am interested in getting a job and in my future career as an engineer of your company. I have experience working on a refrigerated cargo vessel with a deadweight of 11793 tons with a diesel engine MAN B&W 9L58 / 64 4-stroke, container ship with a deadweight of 29210 tons with a diesel engine MAN B&W 6L70MC 2-stroke, and new-built container vessel with a deadweight of 158097 tons with Main Engine Hyundai WINGD 10X92. I graduated from Odessa National Maritime Academy, I have a certificate of competency – third – class engineer, the entire package of documents and an American visa. I also have experience with Wartsila L20 and R22 / 26 diesel generators, and Hyundai – Himsen 7H32/40. I took part in the repair and maintenance of the machinery, for example: diesel engine generator overhaul, main engine and diesel - generators gas turbine repair, replacement of exhaust valves of the main engine, replacement of piston rings on two cylinders of the 6L70MC engine, maintenance of auxiliary machinery. Familiarized and comply with the rules of safety at sea. I took part in bunkering operations in compliance with environmental safety rules. I worked with representatives of other nationalities, met new people, learned about the life of other nationalities and made new friends among them, with whom we correspond in social networks and share new experience gained in work. My knowledge of English is not at a high level, but I constantly practice English in communication and correspondence with new friends. And the knowledge of English that I have allows me to communicate and fulfill my goals in work on the ship. I like to be interested in and study new technologies of ship energy systems. New developments to reduce exhaust emissions – last vessel was equipped with exhaust gases cleaning system (scrubber). I consider myself purposeful, sociable, having a sense of responsibility in the performance of official duties.
