During practice on a ship for keeping watch in the engine room, I was instructed by a chief engineer and admitted to keeping a watch as a 4th engineer under the supervision of a watch engineer. During the watch, I measured tanks, notes oil record books, engine books and performed an operation to switch from VLSFO to ULSFO and back. Performed run, shutdown, chemical and mechanical cleaning of vacuum distiller ALFA-LAVAL, SONDEX. I was involved in repair work with circulation pumps. Serviced, cleaned, repaired ALFA-LAVAL PURIFIER. Performed start run, shutdown, maintenance, repair of injectors and watch keeping for INSINERATOR HYUNDAI-ATLAS. Preventive work was carried out on the boiler AALBORG, KANGRIM: water analysis, purge, start and stop in manual and emergency modes, replacement and cleaning of the main and ignition fuel burner. Participated in bunkering operations: keeping watch, performed measurements of fuel tanks. During the watch, the INSERT GAS GENERATOR and INERT GAS SYSTEM start-run, stopped in automatic and manual modes, repairs and maintenance work. Participated in overhaul of the main and working air compressors, auxiliary diesel generators. Under the supervision of a chief engineer, I independently prepared the main MAN B&W engine for launch. Participated in the repair and replacement of injectors, high pressure fuel pumps, puncher valves, high pressure pipes, staffing boxes, shock absorbers, measured crankshaft expansion, turbine maintenance. I have experience with a lathe machine, manual arc welding machine, acetylene gas torch emptied the wells, replenished the oil tank and evaporated the bilge, sludge. Helped the engineer to maintenance of the sewage treatment plant in the repair of vacuum pumps. The launch, synchronization and commissioning of diesel generators HYUINDAI MAN B&W 6L 23/30 were carried out.
