My childhood excitement & interest on the sea and ships led me to choose B.Sc. Nautical Science after my schooling. With the same interest and excitement, I completed my degree with First Class-Distinction and 82.4%. During my Pre-sea training I earned all the knowledge & skills about Navigation and Deck department. I am an optimistic & self-motivated person to handle any situation. In training academy, out of 120 cadets I proved myself with my sincerity and responsible quality by being selected as a Quartermaster & Bosun Store In-charge of hostel for 2 years. And by being a Class leader for several times & also by participating in group events & discussion, I developed my qualities like Leadership, decision making, Punctual and perfection on work and Time management. In our academy, as we had cadets from various parts of India, I developed my communication skill & also the easily attachable & friendly nature with new people which a mariner must have to work with multi-national people on-board ship. Also, I had completed some basic modular courses like Basic Safety Training, Security Course and Oil & Chemical Tanker course.
