I’m third year cadet of ADMIRAL MAKAROV STATE UNIVERSITY OF MARITAME AND INLAND SHIPPING. My faculty is Navigation and Communication. I’m very interested in doing a sailing practice as a cadet. I think that a company can help me for smooth transition from academic education to actual professional career. My Grade Point Average is 5.0. I have very good physical training, so I am ready to face the difficulties of working at sea. At the university I am head of group. During my training, I learned Port Structure, Ship Structure, Crew’s duties, Safety at sea, Safety regulations, communication at sea. I got acquainted with IMO, MARPOL 73/78, SAR, SOLAS, STCW. Exploring ECDIS species, properties and capabilities. Despite my lack of work experience on shipboard position I feel that I can handle the duties and would be well-suited for Deck Cadet position. I’m responsible, punctual, non-conflict, ambitious, discipline and respectful of seniority and age. I’m a quick learner who enjoys working with a team and easily adapt to new conditions.
