My name is Mikhail Panasiuk. I am a 4th year cadet of the Adm. Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping. I have maritime experience in the position of deck cadet on STS “MIR”. I am familiar with deck operations and navigational equipment. I took part in anchoring, mooring, embarkation, disembarkation operations and I had the experience of the keeping watches on the navigating bridge where I was a lookout and a helmsman. Under the supervision of the senior officers, I worked with navigational equipment, kept radio contact with the vessels in vicinity, ploated the course, worked with electronic updates. Moreover, I carried out administrative errands and worked with documents. I have a second citizenship of Ukraine.
