I'm looking for a job as a chief mate. I have a wide experience as a safety/ navigational/ cargo handling / security / MLC officer, there is also a dry dock ship's repair expirience as a chief officer. I have a good knowledge of the Ship's stability calculation, safety awareness, environment control and a big practice in a draught survey (Weight computation of the loaded vessel acc/to ship's displacement). Furthermore my previous captains and crew members were mixed (Portuguese, Brazilian, Filipino, Cabo Verde). My spoken english is good, written is the same. Experience of a wide trading areas: The Baltic, North, Irish, Celtic, Mediterranean, Black and Norwegian Seas, Biscay Bay, Saimaa Lakes (Finland Navigation). Knowledge of loading bulk cargo, grain cargo, general cargo, carriage of timber (telegraph poles/sawn timber/logs) on deck/underdeck, carriage of steel goods (steel beams, coils, wire etc.).
