Dear Ladies and Sirs, Good day! I am looking for the vacant position of Chief Officer on a container fleet. I would like to introduce myself for the position as Chief Mate on the Container Fleet. My Seaman’s career started in 2006 as 3rd Officer and presently I have over 15 years of experience at sea on container vessels with capacity up to 13100 TEUs. Within this period I worked on the vessels under management of several companies such as Columbia Shipmanagement, Bernhard Rickmers (Singapore Branch), Danaos, Thomas Schulte Management, BSM and MSC. I have occupied the position of Chief Officer since 2016 and I have already completed 8 contracts in this rank. Container fleet is my preference and I would like to continue my career on this type of vessel. Presently I am a holder of a Master License. I have enough knowledge, skills and practice according to Chief Officer responsibility such as: - Navigation on Worldwide routes - Practice and training of mooring / unmooring operations with pilot under master’s supervision, Anchoring - Cargo stowage and handling, stability and stresses calculations - Ballasting / de-ballasting operations and garbage management - Knowledge of Loading programs, Ballast program, Trim optimization, PMS, Microsoft software, all other software for routine jobs on board as per company policy and management - Organization of deck maintenance on board in accordance with safe working practice, monitoring and planning of working and rest hours. - Dry dock preparations, Lay-up, Helicopter evacuation operations, rescue of abandoned vessel crew. I have over 10 years of experience working on board with different nationalities of the crew such as German, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Filipino, Indian, Myanmar, Indonesian, Chinese. All my previous appraisals are positive and I have several recommendations for promotion from different Captains. All my certificates have been renewed recently and valid, date of my availability starts from 01.05.2023.
