Dear Sir/Madam, I am Pandiyan.C., Electrical Engineer with overall of around 18years of experience, which includes engineering design, Grid Connection Studies, Power system studies and protections & co-ordinations for major Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemicals, Utilities, Power & Energy Industry projects up-to 132kV/220kV systems. Also, have good experience as Network Management for SCADA/EMS applications using ABB-WS500 tool (testing). Skills: Education- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and Master of Engineering - Power Systems Worked on Proposals, Estimation, Feasibility Studies, Concept Selection, Basis for Design, Urban Plan study, FEED and Detailed design for Oil & Gas facilities, Power plants, Substation, etc. multidiscipline activities. Carried out extensive power system studies such as Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor Starting, Protection & Coordination, Transient Stability studies, Insulation Co-ordinations, Harmonic Analysis & Flicker, Transformer/OHL Energizations, Arc Flash, Substation groundings, etc. Also, capable of carrying out any other power system studies such as Electromagnetic interference (EMI) for oil and gas facilities, Utilities, Tractions, etc. Expert in Carrying out connection studies at 132/220kV voltage level to verify and ensure that meets the grid requirements, etc. Familiar with international power system software include, DigSILENT EDSA, ETAP, CYME, SKM-Power Tool, CDEG-SES Technologies, Powerworld & MiPower, etc. Familiar with International Standards, includes IEEE/ANSI and IEC standards, and Shell standards (DEPs & PS) applicable for oil and gas design engineering practices in the middle east region.
