Dear Sir, I am applying for a position of Engine Cadet. I graduated Latvian Maritime School in 2008 as Officer in charge of an engineering watch (max. 750KW), and currently studying at Novikontas Maritime College in Latvia. I have interest to join your team as Engine Cadet, and the to grow to Engine Officer in future.
 
 I have experience at sea for 4 months on a RoPax ship and dry dock experience on Oil/ Chemical tanker. I have experience in rust removing, painting, chipping, cleaning, separator disk cleaning, filter cleaning, kingston washing, electronic soldering.
 
 I have all required documents to start - SOLAS, SSD, Oil/Chemical Tanker Basic, Gas Tanker Basic, Seaman’s Book, Medical Examination Certificate, COVID Vaccination Certificate. I have good basic understanding of machinery and systems of ship. I know 3 languages - English, Russian and Latvian and can communicate with international crew. I worked with Estonians, Latvians, Russians, Ukrainians, Polands and Philippinians. I would be reliable, considerate, hard-working, fast learning and ready for new challenges part of your team.
