- Ability to work in high-pressure situations – being assigned as navigation and safety officer on board of different vessels I obtained priceless experience, such as response in emergency situations (several ME breakdowns in dense traffic), navigation in dense accumulations of fishing boats (including in restricted visibility), break away from the moorings.
- Passion to my job – my personal interest provided me with good skills of operation and maintenance of shipborne navigational, safety, fire-fighting and radio equipment. Highly organized. Able to work in multiple task environment. Proven fast learner abilities (see references).
- Capable to manage large volumes of information, process a mass of paper work, reporting and correspondence - even by short notice. In collaboration with Chief Engineer, developed Excel-based program on board for facilitation of reporting procedure. As 3rd officer was engaged in shipboard documents’ turnover and control. Was assigned by Master to handle Ship’s Certificates and as document control officer.
- Proficient and experienced in MS Office and Adobe Software (including MS Word and Excel). Dealt with different kinds of testing software (Sets 6000, Sets Plus, Ces 4.1, Marlins, Delta, Seagull CBT). Confident PC user. Made up shipboard network map.
- Strong communication and listening skills – experience of work with many nationalities around the globe.

I always work on improvement of my personal skills and knowledge, attend various educational courses, pass CBTs and take my time for self-education. I’m always good to pass any interview, test or any other kind of examination in English or Russian.

- Prevented bow thruster breakdown during routine safety inspection before departure (fuse box detached due to vibration and was hanging on power supply cables of BT, SPIRIT OF TOKYO, July 2021)
- Revised and implemented Plan for recovery of person from water (m/v SPIRIT OF TOKYO, May 2021)
- Restored operation of ECDIS after malfunction when underway (m/v SPIRIT OF TOKYO, June 2021; m/v AS LAURETTA June 2020)
