I obtained the Coxswain Competency Certificate from the Department of Nautical Science of the Federal College of Marine Fisheries and Technology of Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria, in which I study Coxwain (Navigation Course) of which consist of the following subjects, seamanship, chart ploting,Rules of the Road, Fish gear, Navigation Aids and Navigation. I went ahead to do Rating Part Of Navigational watchkeeping course II / 4 from Commonwealth of Dominica, I also take a basic STCW, ship safety course in Brazil, where I trained in Personal Safety and Social Responsibility, Primary First Aid , Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention, Personal Survival Techniques, Crowd Control and Crisis Management , Passenger Safety and Cargo. I also did Ship Familiarization course (Anti Pirate Course) and oil rig safety course .I have 3 years and 5 months of sea time experience as Ordinary seaman in a Ship of 28,277 GRT and 8251 GRT respectively, working in this great capacity I have gained an invaluable experience in my professional career.In accordance with the mission of developing human capacity in the maritime industry by international maritime organization, encouraging individuals to participate in the maritime industry worldwide, I believe your contribution in this regard will increase the human capacity development for the construction of a vibrant maritime industry worldwide, and this can only be moved to the desired level with the kind support of the Marítime companies.
