I have recently graduated from the Merchant School "Escuela Nautica Mercante de Tampico" as a Junior Engineer Officer. For this reason I am requesting in the most respectful manner the opportunity to perform my professional practices for 365 days aboard of one of your vessels as a Junior Engineer Officer which is a requirement for my degree. It would be an honor to be considered as a suitable candidate for complying such responsibility since an excellent reputation precedes this company. Regarding my academic preparation, I have knowledge supported by my school grades about Internal Combustion Engines, the entire Auxiliary Maritime Machinery, Gas Turbines, as well as the Electric Generation and Distribution. I have experience with Arc Welding (SMAW), Refrigeration Systems and Electrical Installations. I work constantly with my Personal Protective Equipment, following step by step any procedure for any necessary intervention or drill, putting always safety first. I have a quite good level in my second language, English, supported by the International Certificate "IELTS" where I have gotten a Band 7. I want to highlight the fact that I have obtained the 2nd place in Academic Achievement, added to this, I reached the distinction of First Sargent during my last year as a student. I do not have inconvenience with travelling abroad, I can rapidly adapt to the environment and I am good at team work, always ready to learn something new.
